Joe was great to work with. He was kind and patient while I decided on an alternate plan for a ceiling fan install that I had bungled trying to DYI last weekend. Yes, I should have called Dilling earlier and will call them for upcoming electrical projects. They are reasonably priced!! In total, Joe installed two ceiling fans and a closet light fixture. He was professional, smart and has a great smile. Thank you, Joe and Dilling.

First visit cost $189-This past Monday my company experienced a power surge and we lost lightning in our warehouse. I had dilling come to check it out. While the guy they sent was nice he did not have the necessary equipment to diagnose the problem (I was able to provide the necessary tools) I had to be his helper in order for him to check some things(hold this here type of help). By the time the visit was done there was no definitive answer and he was going to come back the next day with a level 2 tech.Second visit cost $662- they are going to change out two three way switches (it's just a normal light switch). This does not fix the issue. So they proceed to try and locate the contactors to check for proper operation. After about 20 minutes or so they find it and check it out, this is the problem they are burnt out. So this building has 2 of them at a googled cost of $250 give or take . The one tech says if they had the parts in hand it would take like 10 minutes to do. Then they give me the estimate for repair ........ $3770 dollars. So material costs roughly $500 that means your hourly rate is approximately $1600 per hour per tech. And it would be like 2 more days until they could get the part to make the repair. So I called a competitor to get a second opinion and they came to do it for free as long as I had an estimate over $500. I explained to this new company what I wanted fixed and he said no problem with the caveat that he could not be sure of there assessment and if that did not work a further diagnosis would be needed at a fee. He spen the next 5-10 minutes figuring out the cost and came back with an estimate of $987-$1032 with tax and then asked if I wanted it done today or later.(so he had the parts on hand?) No he had to go get them from kings mountain (I'm located in matthews) he got the parts and had the repair done by 5pm. I was very unsatisfied with your company, your techs were nice but poorly prepared and your estimate was on the borderline of being theft. I will never consider your company for even the smallest of jobs. My company works in construction and we understand a mark up to to make a profit on a job but you guys should feel embarrassed. I would suggest anyone who reads this to try out on time electrical or at least get a quote from them before making your decision. Do better

Luc Dillahunt was amazing! Nice guy! We had a fly-by-night company quote us $2500 for an electrical job that they said needed many things. Luc came by and told us it was nothing more than a simple outlet replacement that cost just over $300. We are grateful for Luc and Dilling and their honestly. Luc even went the extra mile to help make sure the oven/stove was put back in place properly and flush with the counter. We had some trouble, but we got it and shared a high-five when it was over. I can’t say enough about how impressed I was. Will call again if I need any help with anything electrical again…and you should too!

I had my AC/Heat check up today by Dilling Heating, cooling. Martin checked my systems. He was absolutely wonderful and so pleasant. He also fixed a AC vent because it wouldn’t close after I changed my filters. Zach was awesome! We were notified via text and email letting us know that Zach was on his way. A few minutes later, we received a phone call from Zach to let us know when he would arrive. He arrived on time, asked the correct questions, and then asked if he could take a look at the breaker box. Very polite and friendly! He was able to quickly troubleshoot the issue with the 220v plug, then promptly replace it. He also explained what the probable cause was as well. If I could give 6 stars, I would! Definitely recommend Zach from Dilling Services!
